Frequently asked questions.

Do you take insurance?

We are in the process of credentialing with major companies such as Pacific Source, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Allegiance and Montana Co-Op. If you want to get on the waitlist to receive a call when we are contracted with your preferred provider, reach out and we will take your information. For now, we are out of network but have systems to help you get reimbursed when possible until we are in network. We also accept HSAs and CareCredit. It is important to note, only our clinical services with licensed clinical professionals are eligible for insurance coverage. Our specialty coaches are experts in other fields and do not provide clinical services and therefore are not accepted by insurance. We are able to bill separately to ensure you can submit for all clinical services eligible for reimbursement.

Why would I choose a non-clinical professional?

Clinical therapy and counseling is extremely impactful. However, sometimes your issue is more skills-based than clinical. That’s why we work as a multi-disciplinary team to ensure we have the professionals to support exactly what you need. The only limitation is insurance coverage, which will only reimburse for clinical work.

How often should I come to therapy?

Most people start with one or two appointments per week, with the aim to decrease once you and your clinician think it is time. Some people find they feel stable and ready to move on within ten sessions, other people like to make this a longer term part of their self-care plan. Your provider will work with you to determine what is right for you.

What if this doesn’t work?

We have options. We work as a team, so if you find you need support beyond what your provider is an expert in, we will work together to build a team that meets all of your needs. If you need a higher level of care than outpatient care, we do have a sister-company that can provide closer wrap-around care when appropriate.

Is this in an office?

We have an awesome physical space within Eartha Collective in Whitefish, Montana. However, we find a lot of our clients are busy and prefer to work remotely and we are all skilled at providing the same level of care through telehealth that you would receive in person. Our number one priority is that you get care from the right provider, and we never want distance to be a factor, so all of our providers are willing to work remotely when necessary.
